Form Filling Software
Here are some basic notes about the pricing of each system that I've found so far. If you're aware of any other residential software please let me know! (Also check out our Auxillary software section for other programs that are related to the profession) These numbers of course don't include flood maps or whatever else they're going to nickel and dime you for.
Software | Second-year low price | Second-year higher price
Homeputer | $249 | $448
Appraise It | $588 | $828
ACI | $649 | $849
A La Mode | $399 | $1097
Clickforms | $599 | $1099
Nexus | $828
Freedom Appraise| $N/A
House Canary | $N/A

They have a page talking about putting out appraisal software. I don't think this actually exists at the moment though. Somehow they have a testimonial, without actually having the software completed?

from what I can tell by looking at that page source I don't think it's been updated since 2020/05/05

edit: I can't support them.
In this letter House Canary supports raising the minimum threshold for appraisal waivers.
"HouseCanary strongly supports the proposed rule. Evaluations can be cheaper, quicker, and
more objective than appraisals. The rule would offer significant new protections to consumers and lenders and maximize net benefits to consumers." - Jeremy Sicklicker

Anow
This one is pretty hard to nail down their pricing. all of the main links on their site just try to get you to click toe get their free trial.
This page says Nexus is $30 a month per license.(aside from $39 for the Anow service)
This one says it's $29 a month (each billed annually) or $135 for 5 users, or $250 for 10 users

Nexus requires the purchase of ANOW monthly at $39 minimum.
so that's likely $69 a month minimum
integration with Total is $10 a month (for the first 75 orders)
integration with mercury is $5 a month (plus $1 per order)
storing your comparable database in their cloud is $9 a mont.
for $15 a month (for the first 75 orders) you can forward some emails to them for orders and they'll do some data entry of what's on the order form. (not totally sure how that works)
