Honestly this is kind of a shopping list for me since I don't own most of this.
Provides the highest strength and the lowest elongation. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coating and imprinting ensures long use. Made from non-conducting materials. Stains, dirt, dust and mildew wipe clean with soap and water. Lightweight case is virtually shatterproof. The special handle design makes fast work of reeling. Tape width = 1/2 in., with folding metal end hook. Comes standard with the large appraisers hook end (100′ only). Tenths or Inches, printed on one side.
Long Standout Tape Measure
17 foot standout tape measures. Great for avoiding fights with bushes. haven't tried these, but they've worked great in my dreams.

I think these look like a good idea. might try them out sooner or later.
Honestly just posting this here so I can remember I was thinking about buying one. I think it'd be nice to grab one thing out of the car each trip with a tape and disto. I could even put my phone in one pocket.
Alternate shoes
It's nice to have some boots if it's a construction that doesn't have sod yet. Also nice if a dog left a landmine in the backyard.
